The course is combined with e-learning, theoretical, practical training and simulated practises. It concludes with a competency assessment.
Students must achieve a minimum 80% final test score in the e-learning course. In addition the student must pass a competency assessment with 100% success rate at the end of the course.
Digital refresher training must be taken when an access permit is renewed.
Course description
Driving permit C is for individuals requiring authorisation to drive in airport maneouvering areas; runways and taxiways.
Goals:
- To know which areas it is permitted to drive in with a class C driving permit
- To acquire knowledge of the applicable rules and regulations at the airport
- To be aware drivers responsibilities when driving in the airport area
- To be able to communicate with the airport control tower
- To have the ability to drive in the airport area in accordance with applicable rules
