To qualify for a Driving Permit C, applicants must successfully complete the following requirements:
- Complete the e-learning driver training course with 80% minimum results.
- Complete theoratical-, practical- and simulation training.
- Successfully pass a competency assessment demonstrating the knowledge and skills required to operate and drive within the manoeuvring area.
Students must achieve a minimum 80% final test score in the e-learning course. In addition the student must pass a competency assessment with 100% success rate at the end of the course.
E-learning refresher training is required every 24 months, based on the original assessment date.
Course description
Driving permit C is for individuals requiring authorization to drive in airport manoeuvering areas; runways and taxiways.
Goals:
- To know where driving is permitted with driving permit C.
- To acquire knowledge of the applicable rules and regulations at the airport
- To be aware of drivers responsibilities when driving in the airport area
- To be able to communicate with the airport control tower
- To have the ability to drive in the airport area in accordance with applicable rules
