The course includes e-learning, theoretical and practical training. It concludes with a competency assessment.
Participants must achieve a minimum 80% final test score in the e-learning course. In addition they must pass a competency assessment with 100% success rate at the end of the course.
E-learning refresher course must be taken when an access permit is renewed.
Course description
Driving permit A is for individuals requiring authorization to drive on aprons, service roads and surrounding airport areas.
Goals:
- To know which areas it is permitted to drive in with a class A driving permit
- To acquire knowledge of the applicable rules and regulations at the airport
- To be aware of drivers responsibilities when driving in the airport area
- To have the ability to drive in the airport area in accordance with applicable rules
