Students must pass the theoretical test with a minimum 80% score and also pass a standardised x-ray test.
All Airport Security Officers that are certified as x-ray screeners must be re-certified every 3 years. Airport Security Officers that are not certified as x-ray screeners must be re-certified every 5 years.

Goals:
During re-certification process, individuals must demonstrate their aviation security knowledge. Individuals with authorisation to screen with x-ray must also pass a standardised x-ray test.
