Theoretical test and also an x-ray test for x-ray security screeners.
Students must pass the theoretical test with a minimum 80% score and also pass a standardised x-ray test.
All Airport Security Officers that are certified as x-ray screeners must be re-certified every 3 years. Airport Security Officers that are not certified as x-ray screeners must be re-certified every 5 years.
Course description
All Airport Security Officers must have completed initial aviation security certification before starting their duties.
As part of the certification, the employee must pass a practical and knowledge tests in aviation security. Employees performing screening with x-ray must also pass a standardised x-ray tests as well as a knowledge test regarding screening with x-ray.
